baro-me is built by one person (hi, I'm Amy) and I have no interest in your personal data. This app exists to help people like me and my mom understand how barometric pressure affects us. That's it.
If you don't sign in, everything stays on your device and nothing is sent anywhere:
If you choose to sign in for cross-device sync, the following is stored in Google Firebase:
Your zip code is never sent to the cloud. Weather readings are never synced. Only your symptom logs are synced so they can appear on your other devices.
If you sign in, I could technically view the Firebase database and see user accounts and their symptom logs. I want to be honest about that. I don't look at individual accounts, but I want you to know it's possible.
What I cannot see: your zip code, your weather readings, your device information, or anything about how you use the app.
You can delete everything at any time:
Both options are instant and irreversible. Once deleted, your data is gone.
If anything changes, I'll update this page. This is a small app made by one person, so there's no legalese — just honesty about what the app does with your information.
